UC Davis offers those interested in plant breeding, genomics, bioinformatics, quantitative genetics, statistics, molecular biology, plant physiology, plant pathology, post-harvest physiology, biochemistry, evolution and population genetics, tissue and cell culture, and biotechnology a truly unique environment in which to pursue their research, education, and career development. Scientists working in these fields have access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources through the UC Davis Genome Center, Bioinformatics Core Facility, the Post-Harvest Physiology Laboratory, the Robert Mondavi Institute for Food and Wine, the Plant Transformation Facility, and the Plant Breeding Center.
